Music=Mind Control
It's that time again, and today I want to talk about something I thought about last week; music.
Last Friday night, because I spent all week staying up late, I couldn't fall asleep early enough to be nicely rested for church. At this point I just let my brain run mad and free and hope for something deep.
I found it.
I realized that almost everything goes right back to music. Where did Lucifer's expertise and pride hail from? The music field. What is the biggest catalyst for the Sexual Revolution? Music. It's everywhere, and it does everything.
A big thing it does is create for us a dreamworld, an ideal to reach, a goal to attain. For hip-hop it tells you what cars to have and what makes you cool, and once men reach it they have no reason to go to college or even graduate high school. Car? check. Rims? check. Clubbing? check. Why would he need college? Next, is alternative. I'm gonna stick to the nice, happy lovey dovey one. I've been in it and somewhat still am. The nice dreamworld, that ideal life to reach, its especially fortified with all the O.C.s and the One Tree Hills out there to show us what the coolest funnest life is.
And the funniest one is Christian Rock. If you listen to Skillet, and FM Static, then you basically hear the story of a Christian guy who's got it somewhat together help out this crazy shattered chick and he's her knight in shining armor. And I have a few friends who listen to it and I can easily see how they strive for that. I am somewhat in that, and my iPod being stolen is what gave me enough time to come out of that and realize what the crap is going on. It just happens. Are you gonna let your mind be controlled?
