MBTA Abuse

I finally posted that graffiti inspired by my trip to New York. Find it here. Today I want to tell you a wonderful story of my abuse at the hands of the MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority).

I needed to go to karate class at the YMCA when My mom said she needed to go to church around the time class ends. In two different towns she would be really late so she asked me and my sister if we could take the bus. We agreed we would take the 24 to Mattapan and then take the 29 to church. This is where we hit our first little snag. For some odd reason, there were no buses heading our way. We were about to walk when a leashed dog was trying to get us because we were on "her" pole. Disgusted, we tried to move on despite that minor trauma when someone in a golden Camry tried to pick us up. We ignored them and when they left we finally walked, running from dogs and waiting at each stop we met. Finally, with sunset looming, we decided to just walk to the end of the road, which is about 2-5 miles.

We finally made it to the station and waited in a well-lit fly-infested dump designed in the 1920s. We finally took the bus and were about 2 hours late. The end.
